Chris Young

Chief Technology Officer

He’s a 4-decades’ long scientist specializing in the chemistry of bio-remediation. Chris is responsible for the evaluation of potential contaminated properties as well as directing the treatments for all Biotech customers. After a career with Dow Chemical, he founded Biotech Restorations a decade ago with the desire to perfect an environmentally-friendly method for cleaning contaminated soils. He has conducted numerous studies of soil situations around the country and has performed remediation processes in multiple US sites. Chris resides in the Charlotte area of North Carolina where he maintains a testing and evaluation laboratory.

Bill Roberts

Chief Operating Officer

Bill has a background in land use, tele-communications, and real estate. He is responsible for the day-to-day operations administration, and regulatory reporting for Biotech. Bill is a graduate of Stetson University where he served as a Trustee and has been licensed by the State of Florida as a commercial Real Estate Broker for over 30 years. Residing in Tampa, he chairs the citizens’ advisory committee for the County Commission’s planning organization and is active in various civic and educational affairs.

Jayme Kurtyka

Director of Corporate Finance

Responsible for site evaluation and financial arrangements for all Biotech projects. Jayme has 30 years’ experience in the financial industry and capital formation for start-up and mid-stage companies. He’s a Board Member and Executive Director of Finance at EagleRail Container Logistics and is an investor and board member of several other companies, both for profit and not-for-profit. Jayme is a graduate of Michigan State University and holds a law degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law at Illinois Institute of Technology. He lives in the Greater Chicago area, spends as much of his time outdoors as possible and has been involved in environmental causes since the mid 1970’s.

Frank Lambert

Director, Real Estate

Frank is a real estate developer and licensed real estate broker. He is responsible for evaluation of real properties for remediation and potential acquisition by Biotech. After forming a construction company at a young age, Frank relocated to Sarasota in 1980 and continues to specialize in the residential real estate market. He’s studied architectural engineering at Purdue University and has developed numerous residential housing projects. Frank resides in Sarasota with a second home in a community he developed near Telluride, Colorado.

Richard Callahan

Senior Advisor & Director, Environmental Affairs

Having several decades of experience in the environmental field where most of which Richard owned BRA, a land supervisory and consulting business. Most recently he was the Senior Strategic Director for North American Operations for Cardno International and is currently involved in several entrepreneurial projects in the Tampa Bay area. Richard received an appointment to the West Point Military Academy and has focused his business career on enriching the land in Florida and throughout the US. He lives on Tampa’s Davis Island and maintains a summer home in Maine.

Robin Leiby

Director of Marketing and Business Development

Robin has an extensive background in developing business, marketing, and real estate. She is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing content strategy, and lead generation. Robin holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations from the University of South Florida. She is active in several professional and philanthropic organizations and has resided in Tampa for over 25 years.
